This region includes the two beautiful cities of Braga and Guimarães.
You probably don't know, but Guimarães is the city where Portugal was born. There, you can visit the foundation symbol of the Kingdom of Portugal, the Guimarães Castle. Moreover, this city was the European Capital of Culture, in 2012.
Braga is the heart of Minho and it was the European Youth Capital, also in 2012! It is the oldest city of Portugal, founded by the Romans, and it is home to over 80 churches of different architectural styles.
The nightlife in Braga is memorable!
